The Gathering Place provides a host of services at our Center for our participants and families, with a focus on wellness and maintaining independence. During the enrollment process the The Gathering Place staff meets with the participant and family to develop a plan of care based on the individual and their needs.
July 1, 2013 marked the addition of our Home Care Program! Whether you are looking for companionship, somebody to help you with shopping, light housekeeping, preparation of your meals and assistance with exercise or personal care, our home care program may be perfect for you!
The Gathering Place Services offer enriching, life-long learning and wellness based experiences. Our person-centered approach offers a new found quality of life. Enrollment is based on individual needs, the program's abilty to meet those needs, and availability of space.
There are many different ways that program participants may pay for their The Gathering Place services. We make every effort to work with families of all income levels to ensure that our support is accessible to everyone. The information here is intended as a guide only. To assure that The Gathering Place has the necessary information to assist you, we will ask questions regarding your medical and social needs and financial information.
